Make It for Mom — Kids Mother's Day Planting Event in Saratoga Springs

Every spring at Sunnyside Gardens, kids get to do something most adults would secretly love — walk into a greenhouse, pick their own flowers, and plant something beautiful from scratch. That's exactly what Make It for Mom is all about.

During this hands-on planting workshop, our staff will guide participants step-by-step through the planting process so each child can create a unique Mother's Day flower container. After the event, we'll care for the garden for a week so the flowers are growing and blooming beautifully just in time for Mother's Day. We've been growing plants in Saratoga Springs for over 40 years — and there's nothing we love more than getting kids into the greenhouse.

Event Dates: April 25 & April 26 Session Times: 10 AM – 12 PM or 1 PM – 3 PM (both days) Pick-Up: Saturday, May 9 or Sunday, May 10 — early pick-up options available
